Our Green Construction opportunities focus on increasing local renewable energy generation, sustainable building and retrofitting and skills development projects that improve energy-efficiency, support low-carbon development and ensure Oxfordshire has the skilled workforce to deliver the change needed.
Low Carbon Hub – Solar Rooftop Pipeline
This initiative will create a pipeline of large roof-mounted renewable energy projects across businesses, schools, and community buildings throughout Oxfordshire.

Green Construction Skills Centre
This project is for an extension to the Green Construction Skills Centre in Abingdon, and will enable Abingdon & Witney College to expand its green construction programme offer.
